Weekend News & races

Best of luck to Tommy & Little Bruce today in the big race at Musselburgh

We have just the two runners today with the decimation of Weatherbys card. ‘Bee the Difference’  runs in the handicap hurdle at Musselburgh and he ran an improved race at Fakenham on his latest start, he would prefer better ground but this is the best we will get anywhere at the moment! Little Bruce takes his chance again in the 4 mile ‘Edinburgh National’ and he’s fit & fresh with his favourite jockey, Tommy Dowson in the plate who has already ‘won’ two Nationals on him – the Cambridgeshire & the North Yorkshire Nationals. LB is high enough in the weights now following a couple of good seasons, and he has a tough ask today but Tommy will be positive and we’ll hope for a decent performance from this brave little horse, a real favourite amongst our yard followers as well as our Team and his Owners.

Tommy & Little Bruce

We’ve been short on runners with so much racing off, but WEMYSS POINT ran another good race on Wednesday, 2nd at Kempton and not beaten very far – another runner up prize to add to his Lingfield 2nd a few days previously.  We’ve entries again in the Jumpers Bumpers at Newcastle on Monday  – declared are Show Promise, Milanvera, Another Theatre, Get Real, My Strong Man & Romeo Brown. Partnership Owners  –  I am about to send out details.

Tomorrows runners are Little India & Glory of Paris at Southwell – at least we know it should be on!
