15 Nov….

Today our runners are Bateau Bay & Achnamara running up at Newcastle. Bateau Bay ran much better last time out and ran on well at the finish, up in trip to 2 miles today for her owners The First To Third Generation in the Apprentice H’cap with Laura Coughlan on board. Achnamara is looking to go one better today following his 2nd in his last run at Musselburgh for owners The RedHotGardogs with Andrew Mullen on board.

Thoughts are with Graham & Family…

We are so devastated by the sad news of Graham’s bad spinal injury jumping out of the stalls at Newcastle and can’t begin to imagine what the Lee family are going through. The support and well wishes all over social media from all in the racing community has been staggering – but not unexpected. The IJF will support him all the way with whatever he needs for as long as he needs. Amy Lee, Graham’s daughter has set up a just giving page for anyone wanting to make a contribution to the IJF no matter how small. It currently stands at over £74000 and rising – a true indication of how much the industry comes together in times of need. Graham is a top jockey, and a top man to go with it – we send our love and prayers to Graham and family and hope for a good recovery.

Here is the link for anybody wanting to make even the most modest of contributions:

The fantastic Boris Birthday Cake!

We have some top pics from Bushypark’s run at Aintree taken by Jutal Roxy. It’s fair to say it wasn’t his best run, but he did the same last season when first back running. He also wants more mud and 5 of the 8 hurdles were omitted so it probably wasn’t to his liking for more than one reason. He will be back! Take a look at these great pics….

Here is a little visit into the barn with our youngsters keeping nice and warm…..

The Kirby dogs sure know how to do relaxing in the warm too!

Watch Out!!!!! Izzy has wheels!!

Much to Pippa’s relief Izzy passed her driving test, so no more mum taxi service…..well only for Indy now instead of both of them!
