Wed 21st Sept…
Today… We have 2 runners heading down to Southwell for their night meeting. Billian (above) remains in good order at home and is making a quick reappearance after missing the start last time out at Wolverhampton on Saturday. Ridden today by Billy Garritty for the Philip Kirby Racing Club. Joining him in the lorry is Raiff having his 2nd run since a long lay off. We hope to see him come on for his first effort of his season for owner David Platt. Best of luck to both for a good day and a safe return.
Tommorrow…. Skycutter takes a step up in grade to have a shot at the valuable prize on offer for the Jockey Club Rose Bowl Listed Race at Newmarket for owners The French Connection, ridden by top jock Hollie Doyle. Also tomorrow we have Wye Aye making his season debut under Ross Chapman at Perth in the h’cap chase. A character you may have noted for his trademark hood wearing and one who can get a little fractious at times pre-race. Having said that he has come a long way since arriving as untrainable, winning 4 for us amongst many other placings. We look forward to seeing him add to his tally this season for owners The Well Oiled Partnership.

We had a fantastic day on Saturday for our PKR Club Day, the weather stayed fine and everyone enjoyed a good look around, meeting each other, the horses and the team. Here are a few of the comments we had on our Facebook page afterwards…
It makes it so much worthwhile to know that everyone had a good time and appreciate the effort that goes on ‘behind the scenes’ to put on these events, thank you for all the kind comments!
