Todays runner is Caracristi looking to give our apprentice Madi Patzelt her first winner, a doable task on paper with her being still in top form following their good 3rd last time out at Musselburgh. Best of luck to them today in the 1.42 at Beverley for owners Ace Bloodstock and all connections.

Ever wondered what goes on at home here at Green Oaks?

Now is your chance to meet all the horses & our dedicated staff & hear Phil’s thoughts on an exciting Winter team to come – we have several lots to watch on the gallops, a horses parade to include Lady Buttons & Top Ville Ben, interesting displays, refreshments on arrival, food van, mares & foals tour – you can even have a try at being a jockey on the equicizer ( mechanical race horse). We have PKR Club merchandise to buy and Megan Dent Photography will have a trade stand of beautiful photos & canvases. If you would like to join us, but need to become a club member, please email clubpkr@hotmail.com and we can take payment this week and have your welcome pack ready to collect on Saturday. You may bring a guest with you. Directions will be given for how to find us at DL10 7QE and arrival is from 8.45 for a 10 am start, parking on grass or close car park for blue badge holders. Sholokhov filly ‘Sophie’

All our shares are now sold out for Sophie and The Good Looking Partnership. She is a lovely horse who is further forward than some 3yr olds and may well run before the end of this season. We look forwards to sharing her progress with you all!

Farewell HRH Elizabeth II

We are very sad to see the passing of the Queen, such an admirable lady who dedicated her whole life to her country, and of course had a passion for racing and horses in general. May she rest in peace.
