Virtual Grand National Day and OUR Grand National

Top Ville Ben

Its an odd day in the Kirby household, we’re all sat around the TV waiting for the Virtual Grand National and despite the disappointment not to be there, there’s not a chance we’d miss this virtual event. Top Ville Ben is safely in his stable and we’ll have to wait until next year to see if he can have a proper go at it. It would have been Tommy’s first ride in the race and he’s naturally absolutely gutted. Going by the stats, the ‘Virtual’ computer system likes in previous years, Ben won’t be the winner – too young, too much weight, no 4 mile form, to make a few of their important factors!

To get into the racing spirit we ran our own Grand National earlier on, here is our preview programme…

And the race itself… we hope you enjoy it! We certainly enjoyed making it 🤣 It’s getting 1000’s if views & comments on our facebook page – thank you followers!

With no racing we’ve been looking back at our Aintree of last year… Lady Buttons off top weight 2nd in the Red Rum Chase giving the well backed & well handicapped winner 10lbs,  an impossible task on the day but a brilliant run. Top Ville Ben was 3rd in the Grade 1 Novices Chase, a top drawer performance, and Don Poli gave Team PKR, our family  and his Owners an excellent day in the National itself. A meeting to remember 👏
