Monday 2nd March – video

A paddock view of Episode at Sedgefield yesterday – not the win connections and us hoped for, bumper winners are hard to come by, but he looked a million dollars and tried his hardest. He is going to make a very nice handicap hurdler, but is likely to head to the DBS Sales in May as previously planned unless sold prior – enquiries welcome.  As you will see from this video you could would find it hard to find a better specimen of horse, he is only a four year old and will be winning races.  Hugo looked stylish up the straight and it won’t be long before he is riding his first winner for us.

O’scar Oscar runs at Southwell today for The New Roc P’ship, he has been dropped slowly by the handicapper but looks to have a decent chance of breaking his maiden tag this afternoon.  Phil will be declaring Transient Bay for Newcastle tomorrow, he has quite a few of his Owners heading up there to cheer him on.

Its back to the white stuff at both Castleton and Middleham, this was the unexpected drive home across the moors last night…..phil is having a tricky drive to work this morning as it is now icy on top.
