Tuesday’s News
Sadly we can’t bring you anything exciting like a winner, so hopefully this new video will keep everyone interested. Best of the day was Stormy Morning (3rd) and Rocky Two (4th) at Catterick, Istimraar ran mid field in a warm handicap, staying on but not close enough to strike. Its been a frustrating flat season with many placed efforts but not the bulk of winners (or well handicapped horses) of last year and we will be glad to get the jumpers up and firing in the next few weeks.
Saturday saw photographer Mick Atkins visiting the yard and he took some super photos, they are available to buy on his website, I will send owners a link by email. Here are a selection (with watermark).
Book 1 of Tattersalls sales started today and Phil will be there on Thursday with Owners looking to purchase a high class yearling for next season. I am looking forward to bringing you news and photos via the magic of iphone. Saturday and Sunday sees our daughters riding at the biggest show of the year, Horse of the Year Show at the NEC, some nerve wracking hours for us to endure!
Our yard is looking for a home for a 2 year old filly at present, she will make a polo/endurance type for someone experienced next year and is good to handle in all ways. 15hands, retired sound, very atractive filly. She has had a months break in the field and is ready to go to a kind new home. Suggestions welcome.
I am pleased to tell you all that Megan Dent raised over £300 for MS on her 5km charity run, coming 20th out of 400 runners, a great achievement. She would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for donating on her Just Giving Page.
