Wednesday’s News

No runners today, will bring you gallops news later, but for now a  photo from last week. This is ‘Vic’s Last Stand’ bred by Robin Ellerbeck, a fantastic looking Old Vic filly (his last foal) and ridden here by Steve Kettlewell who is brilliant with the young ones . We hope she has an engine to go with her impressive looks, she is just cantering away at present.

Other bumper fillies to look out for are Bedale Lane (same breeder) , Libby Mae, Preacher’s Belle (entered) Soeur De Rois, Back Baby Paris & Kayf’s Honor.

And for those of you who like something different this is the Ballinalsoe Horse Fair video – an event we went to on Sunday, we have bought a couple of show horses in the rough from here in the past including a Horse of the year Show Winner bought for £230,  but nothing this time. We bought the dog instead! Phil will certainly see the other side of the Equine World tomorrow when going to Tatersalls Book 1 at Newmarket with multi million pound yearlings on offer, the best in the world.
