Saturdays News
We are double-headed on the flat and over hurdles today, Rumble of Thunder bids to go one better than Just Cameron who ran a fine second at the Ayr meeting yesterday , Adam Nicol is back on board and he won on him two runs back at Musselburgh and second last time. Rumble has been in excellent form and this 2m5f should suit perfectly. With a first prize of over £12k its ultra competitive and he goes there with a nice each way chance.
Philip Makin rides Run FatLassRun for us at Thirsk and this Sakhee filly ran a promising comeback at Southwell recently. she is a big price but us not without a chance and rain will not inconvenience her.
pictured above is Diddy with our exciting staying flat and novice hurdle prospect, Perennial- he is pleasing us in his work and schooled well during the week. The head on the right belongs to Just Paul.
And this is Man in Black, a nice horse who has been sent to us recently along with ‘Birthday Guest’.
We are also pleased to say that although recent bumper winner Aniknam has been sold he is remaining with us in the new Ownership of Bortech who now have six with us, Aniknam holds an entry at Hexham on Monday but he is also a possible for Punchestown instead. We have some really high class NH prospects in these exciting bumper winners, and another who will be running soon is Hail the Brave whose first time out Carlisle form has been strongly upheld. He has a had a break but we would like to think he can get one on the board before his summer turnout.
Herenowandwhy ran a promising race at Catterick during the week, although he was a little slow away he was making ground at the end and finished passing horses. He looks like a real fun horse for us up at Musselburgh this summer and he loves it up there.
