Tuesday’s news

Three runners today – two at Carlisle and One at Pontefract.  Mickey Fingers makes his debut in a bumper ridden by Kyle. He is still quite green but ready to go to the races and will learn from this experience, he can be seen having his final canter on this short video i took yesterday in the mist at Middleham:

Please ignore the lack of proper text on one of the clips, a mistake on editing.

Seen on here is the 2 year old dark grey  filly ‘Forgiving Glance’ by ‘Passing Glance’ she is unraced yet but it won’t be long before she makes her debut. Also featured is the recent bumper winner Aniknam ridden yesterday by Steve kettlewell, Next Edition with Sarah Olley  and todays Pontefract runner ‘Iktiview’  who goes up the 3f behind Forgiving Glance. he looks very well, Eva Moscrop rides him today and Phil has left every gadget off him – a new tactic!

Picks Milan makes his chase debut at Carlisle today – he won here for us as a novice last February, beating none other than Moscow Presents who we now have ourselves. Phil and I watched the race on his phone on a tube in london as we were on holiday at  the time! It was a welcome winner. Hopefully a return to this track and the larger obstacles will bring back a return to form, he looks every inch a chaser. He is ridden by John Kington who has done all the schooling on him at home.
