Part of third lot!

Part of third lot!

Esk Valley Lady stayed on nicely at Redcar, she was slow out the stalls and lacked some early pace but passed a few pleasingly, she is still unfurnished and hopefully she will grow and mature into a nice filly for later in the season, the Racing Uk team picked her out after the race!

earlier news…Good luck to our first 2 year old runner of the season, Esk Valley Lady. She runs at her Owners – the Oakley Walls P’ship – local track, Redcar.  She is an attractive, sharp filly but will naturally do better once qualified for nursery handicaps, a good education is first and foremost today, hope she enjoys herself and runs a promising race.

Toola Boola ran well at Market Rasen yesterday for 3rd – an improvement on her Catterick debut and she looked much more professorial at her job with this experience behind her. Sue had her looking so smart, and it  was not bad form to be beaten into 3rd by those two. She may run again this season.

Heading up to Middleham this morning to catch third lot, although the forecast looks awful, sure to get pretty wet by the look of it!  Many of us enjoyed a great fancy dress party in Middleham on Saturday night for Julie’s (Snow White’s) Birthday,  some brilliant costumes and everyone made a top effort. Think I’ll spare the blushes and leave the photos to facebook!!
