Aintree today
The rain is forecast and Phil and Adam will be setting off shortly with Celtic Agent – he runs in the Championship bumper for owners Sue and Colin Johnston – another homebred just like Lady Buttons yesterday. We need the rain to pour and its set to get some heavy showers from 2 o’clock – hope it comes in time!!!! Celtic Agent has tons of abillity but he has never been asked a serious question yet – we don’t know how good he is. Later this afternoon we will find out. We had Avidity in this last year – its seems a long 12 months ago.
Good luck also to Danehill Flyer who runs at Newcastle for CB Construction , he likes a softish surface and he has been going nicely at home, Philip Makin rides. It would be good to get a first flat winner of the year at Newcastle today, Danny won for us in good style last season at Pontefract, pictured below.
