HOW FRUSTRATING but what a brilliant run from Lady Buttons to finish a head second at Aintree in a photo finish. We are all very proud of her and she has a great future.
It was the theme for the day with Ardenlee Day finishing second in the bumper at Sedgefield , Philip Dennis coming off Rosie du Berlais in the Hunter Chase when going well- horse okay but poor Philip has a possible broken arm. Brunello found the ground a bit tacky and didnt find after travelling well. All 4 runners are okay and back home.
We need rain for Celtic Gent tomorrow. Rain gods please empty your clouds on Aintree.
