Monday 23rd September EVE update
No.52, its been 2 weeks coming and we were starting to get a bit twitchy, but well done to Eva Moscrop riding ‘Two ladies and Gentleman’s ‘Mysterious Wonder’ at Hamilton over 6 furlong – the lucky last. Travelling so much more kindly in first time out blinkers, he stuck to his task in determined fashion and hopefully this has now given him the confidence to back up the performance and win again. The journey home from Hamilton seems much shorter this evening.

Can classy DBS sales purchase ‘Kiwayu’ win tomorrow for Keith and Jayne Sivills, and get a first flat win for Adam Nicol? Phil has given Kiwayu plenty of time to adjust to life at Sharp Hill so we certainly hope so, and his style of running suggests he will relish the Carlisle hill, he is very much a grinder at the end of his races. His jockey is better known as one of our yard Conditionals. and claiming 5lb, he will be a major asset and there will be no extra lead being carried…Adam will not be having much dinner or breakfast to do the 9 stone 5lb tomorrow. I remember Phil once doing 9stone 6lb to ride a horse called Brea Hill and he did not look a picture of health!
Kiwayu is pictured leading first lot on Friday with Phil, Adam on Noir Girl.

It was another glorious day at Castleton and 9 horses were ridden out from here – 4 lots of two and one extra.
All the horses enjoyed time in the sun , including young filly ‘Tallulah’ who has come to us for a couple of weeks roadwork.
Bob’s Ticket is enjoying being back and is a gentleman as usual.
Our TEAM page has been updated today, please take a look.
