Tuesday’s news ‘Edition’
A damp Thirsk sees two runners, Money team (ground on slow side for him) and Next Edition in the last – our Dibble Bridge Partnership horse who is a model of consistency but a victim of his genuineness regarding the handicapper! Eddie has handles soft before so hopefully Eva will get another win on him to add to the Musselburgh victory first time out this season. For certain Ed will be sticking his short neck out gamely, he is barely 15hands and little more than a racing pony in height, but definitely more in ability! Interesting fact? he is a half brother to top class Group mare, La Collina who recently won a big race in Ireland.
Newcomer ‘Roma’ a yearling filly by Rainbow High out of Royalty (Agglestone Rock’s dam) graced the paddock for the first time this morning. She can certainly move and is a real good looking yearling, just a good height and lots of presence about her. She is FOR SALE and will be wintered at Dibble Bridge, she is a long term prospect, to make a 3 year old bumper filly – the dam has bred 2 winners from 2 runners so far. She is with her nanny for the day Blazeofenchantment who thought she was lovely and looked after her.
