Thurs 22nd Dec… to be updated later!

A very atmospheric pic from the recent snowfall a few days ago at Green Oaks

We knew it was coming, and it definitely did! There was more than a few inches of the white stuff, but the show went on and all the horses still got out and did some exercise thanks to the dedicated determination of the PKR team – well done everyone!

BIRTHDAYS!!!

Firstly we had travelling head lass Katie’s birthday on Tuesday. I found this lovely pic on her Facebook Page i’m sure she will thank me for – Happy Birthday Katie!!!

Pippa, the manager of many things, kids, dogs, horses, chickens, partnerships & Phil to name just a few also had her birthday on Wednesday. She likes it to slip under the radar – but failed this year! Happy Birthday from us all!!!

Racing Today…

Long To Be heads up North to Ayr for his first go at a novice hurdle under Tommy Dowson for owners John Matthews and Hambleton Racing. We hope to see him have a nice introduction to the jumps and a safe return. Also today we have 2 at Southwell, Porto Ercole has his first run after a break with Graham Lee on board for owners Jowsey, Bainsbridge, Stephenson and Fraser. Raiff returns to Southwell after his narrow miss there last time out. Today Joe Williamson takes the ride who won a bumper on him at Lingfield. Best of luck to him and owner David Platt, and all owners for a great days racing!
