10 Days till Christmas!

It’s VERY fresh and frosty at Green Oaks atm and this superb pic above capturing the morning sun fighting through the mist was taken by Gary Edge. Today the weather has also cancelled a trip out hunting with a few of our racers thanks to the rock solid ground. We dont have any of the white stuff yet, but no doubt it is too cold for it to snow here – probably on its way over the next few days we suspect!
A catch up on winners….

Caracristi returned to Wolves on Monday with a sweet win following her narrow defeat there the week before. Its great to see her get her much deserved win after her recent few near misses. She did it well despite not the clearest of runs, having to switch out to make headway but won going away in the end under a top ride by Kevin Stott for owners Ace bloodstock. Congrats to all connections!

A great pic of Phil and owner John Hanson (Ace bloodstock) who has also been a close friend of Phil’s for many years – celebrating Caracristi’s win!
Busby Double

Busby has been doing a grand job flying the flag for his partnership with a double in a week at Wolves when he returned on Tuesday for yet another C & D win there! This time ridden by Mr Simon Walker it was great to see him get his head infront again, taking it up a furlong out to win well. Busby and Caracristi both add another 10 points each to the score board for anyone who was smart enough to have them on their PKR 10 To Follow list.
PKR Club weekend…
We had an informal open invite to any of our PKR Club members who wanted to pay a visit over Saturday and Sunday morning this last weekend with the option to renew membership whilst here. There was a good turn out and everyone enjoyed seeing the horses exercise….despite the sub-zero conditions. Some pics from the weekend….
