Dares to Dream

We are half an hour away from getting started with our first runners at Ayr and we have Dares to Dream with Joe Wiliamson making her first Racecourse appearance for a massive 708 days on the sidelines. She has done as much work as she can do at home & away gallops, she now needs to get to the races and although she is fit and well, she will inevitably tighten up for her first few runs back, a safe round of jumping & legs good again tomorrow is first priority 🤞🏻 Dares to Dream can be seen in slow motion on this galloping video…

‘Be the Difference’ keeps her company in the 1.05, he was unlucky not to win at Wetherby, finding interference late on by a horse he bumps into again today, Flexi Furlough. He is 1lb worse off with him but a lot shorter in the betting, so although Be The Difference isn’t value if you are fancying a bet, he has a decent chance of making it a first win under rules. Best of luck to Tommy who rides him.

Ravenscar looks tremendously well, and we would expect to see improvement from her Wetherby outing, she should like track, trip & ground and looks a proper hurdler.

En Meme Temps makes his chasing debut today for Hope Eden Racing Limited and he has schooled well at home to suggest this new sphere could really suit him. I hope that won’t jinx his performance over the bigger obstacles today now I have said that! Tommy Dowson takes the ride.

Mountain Glory is our final runner of the day in the bumper, bred by Keith & Jayne Sivills out of their winning mare ‘Pickworth’ this smart looking Fame & Glory gelding has had one run at Kelso to date and Phil sees him as a smart hurdling prospect for the future.

Best of luck to all our horses, jockeys & owners today 🍀
