We have 3 runners today, Red Force One at York and Everett heads to Newcastle with Burrow Seeside for company. ‘Fred’ runs in the competitive looking 1:50 1mile4 h’cap at York with the very capable hands of Joe Fanning doing the steering. We would love to see him recapture his form from earlier in the season and give his owners The Yorkshire Puddings a great day out at this prestigious track.
Victor giving Red Force One a good bath before heading to York.
Everett looks to have been a good buy from the Tatts sales in the spring and is proving to be an improving sort. We look forward to seeing more of the same from this 3yr old at Newcastle in the 4:55 h’cap today stepping up to 2 mile which should suit with Oisin McSweeney on board for Monte Darlo Racing.
Our last runner of the day is Burrow Seeside in the 7:37 7 furlong h’cap. He has previously won here at Newcastle twice and should hold a decent chance today with the addition of a tongue tie for the first time hoping to help him that little extra. Ridden by Tony Hamilton, best of luck to owners Julie Morgan and Caroline Casterton.
Last weeks winner was Lord Torranaga with a great front running performance at Southwell to win by 6 lengths under Billy Garritty. Congrats to him and his partnership.
