The Resdev Way, ready to run this afternoon at Redcar

Good luck to The Resdev Way’ & Owners Resdev Ltd in the 4.50 at Redcar, he’s gone with Katie to the seaside for his afternoon out and although he is a big price he’ll relish the trip, track & ground if bouncing back to form under a jockey he goes well for, Paula Muir.

We’ve had a couple novices run at Hexham and while learning their game, they’ll be better off in their grade of novice handicap once they are off a sensible mark, they were competitive races this afternoon and both just got tired late on. It takes time for some young horses to mature and strengthen up, and in particular ‘Bee the Difference’ is still quite a weak individual but you would hope for improvement later down the line, he enjoyed himself for a good while today in the novice.

Phil is at Goffs UK and one interesting purchase has been made so far for an existing Owner  :

A good looking bay Yeats gelding from Sue & Harvey’s yard – a recommended young horse who has been given time.

Phil has a couple more to look at but they are making decent money still, and it’s harder than ever to unearth a bargain with the NH winter season just round the corner.
