Tuesday…

Lady Kyria

Todays runners are Lady Kyria and Holmgarth at Carlisle’s evening meeting. Holmgarth is the first to run and it is his racecourse debut in what looks like it could be a tough ask up against a trio of decent looking sorts. He has done plenty at home though and we hope he gets a good first experience today under jockey Andrew Elliott for owner James Hall. It is Lady Kyria’s first run back after a short break  and she should handle the heavy ground there tonight following her dual wins in France on soft. We have our apprentice Nick Barrat-Atkins on her tonight claiming his valuable 7lbs, we wish them the best of luck for owners Hope Eden Racing Ltd. Good luck to all connections with both runners and most importantly return home safe.

It was Simon and Sarah’s little baby Jack’s Christening on Sunday and many of the staff joined them to celebrate his special day. I (Sarah!) would like to thank them all for coming and for all the lovely cards, gifts and money. Everyone had a good feed and it was good to see some old faces from our Jonjo years (long ago) whom we rarely see as we are all too busy still working in racing!
