Thurs 8th Aug…

Lady Camelot when she was on her summer break
We have two runners at Haydock today in the same race, Lady Camelot and December Second. Its Lady Camelots first run after her hols and she is returning to the flat where she holds some decent past form in Ireland. Ridden today by our yard Apprentice Nick Barratt-Atkin for her owners The Ploughmen Syndicate, we wish them the best of luck.

Joining her is the smart December Second who continues to impress us running a very close 2nd beat by a nose last time out with Nick on board. We hope he continues with his impressive consistency in his handicap debut today and hopefully can add a third win to his score board. Ridden today by Andrew Elliott for owner David Platt – best of luck and all come home safe.
Phil has been busy at the Goffs UK sales at Doncaster yesterday and came home with 3 new members of the team. Lucky Icon was purchased by Keith & Jayne Sivills, a talented 5 yr old by Sixties Icon from Thomas Mullins yard. Wye Aye is a well bred 4yr old by Shirocco from Venetia Williams yard who looks a good sort and the type we can hopefully find improvement in. The last was Madeeh, a 3yr old flat bred out of the Stoute yard, again looks to be some improvement made with him.
