A schooling morning for Bertie Blake & Top Ville Ben

Attempting to get back on track following his 6th fence capsize at Cheltenham, Sean Quinlan came in this morning to ride out and school Top Ville Ben over our fences. He went up twice, leading Tommy & Bertie Blake and both horses jumped beautifully. Ben heads up the road to Wetherby and a 5 runner Novice Chase tomorrow, first and foremost a clear round is No.1 priority, and after that we hope he is in front passing the post! Here is the video taken today:

Bertie Blake clearly looks well up to the Chasing job and the jury is out wether Phil can hang on till next season of us just too tempted to enter him in a suitable novice handicap…!

We also have Skipthescales & Oak Vintage running tomorrow with each way chances – and significantly we take our Grand National fancy,  BLAKLION for an after racing gallop at the track – anyone going racing may well like to stay and watch him in action, he will have a  gallop partner.
