Philip Kirby Racing

Racehorse Trainer based at Richmond, North Yorkshire

Wednesday at Cheltenham

Lady Buttons looking fantastic in the paddock, turned out & led up by Julie

She is home safe & sound and did herself proud yesterday on Racing’s biggest stage – Tommy sitting her off the pace as planned and coming through with a run but not quite enough to be right in the mix, just tiring a little up the straight but another Grade 1 place to her record and proving her versatility once again. What a star ⭐️

A 2nd and 3rd at Sedgefield were not quite the results there that we hoped for but solid runs nevertheless.

Today we have Top Villle Ben in the RSA at 2.10 for Sean Quinlan, he should like the ground and looks in great shape for his Owners, The Harbour Rose Partnership. We think he has a sound EW chance and should hopefully be out of danger up the front.  He’ll need a career best to be involved but he is no forlorn hope.

Some photos from our afternoon in the sunshine with Buttons…
