Tuesday’s News

The countdown is well & truly on….

Its the last piece of really strong work for our Cheltenham team  today and we’ll be hoping everything goes to plan and they work well, always a slightly nervous time.

As promised here is Little Bruce’s tremendous pillar to post success on Sunday – even more notable considering he is a first season novice and dwarfed by most of his rivals.

He has come out of the race well and is going in the paddock for a few days. Here also is Tommy’s interview..

Today’s runner at Newcastle is the debutante bumper filly, ‘Desaray Girl’ for her Owners Resdev Ltd. By Monmatre out of a winning family,  she is a strong individual and a striking grey.

She has has been pleasing us in her homework but  as with all fillies, Phil is mindful not to be too hard on them and whatever she achieves today there will be more to come, she is one for the long term.

Bertie Blake was making us smile yesterday…

Smile please Bertie!

We also thought you would like this short clip of the outstanding looking ‘Robin Des Chapp’ , Lady B’s 4 year old half brother walking round after exercise. He is clearly feeling well in himself! Not many horses make Stargazer look small but Robin towers over him walking behind.

Stargazer is himself looking in great shape and has some exciting Easter targets. Sammi rides him every day and they have built up a great partnership.

A couple of new photos taken the last few days….
