Wet Wednesday!

Bahkit, today’s runner

We are wishing Mrs Joyce Porter lots of luck today with her horse Bahkit who runs early this evening at Newcastle . He is pictured here with Henry yesterday and he has a decent ew chance on this fair, galloping track.

Yesterday we had a good 2nd from Nicely Indeed – he’s posted 3 decent efforts recently and that first hurdles win must be round the corner. Wemyss ran 4th in a hot race off his new handicap mark of 136 and probably found the ground slow enough. There will be other days for him and both horses returned home safely.

We are pleased to say that Tommy has ( finally) had his operation to fix his broken collar bone and he has been told to keep his sling on and stay quiet for a fortnight. Those that know Tommy will appreciate that keeping quiet and steady may not be that easy but he is desperate to be back in the saddle and he’ll be doing everything to give it the best chance for as early return as possible.
