Monday 13th August & video

Archippos our runner today at Ripon

Archippos faces 9 other runners over 1m 6f this afternoon at Ripon (2.55), and he’ll be ridden by the capable Ben Curtis. The ground easing will definately suit and he stays every yard of this trip – we’re looking for a decent performance from this consistent Archipenko gelding who won on the opening day of the flat at Doncaster back in April. Phil has taken our youngest daughter, Indy to the races with him this afternoon.

Top Cat feeling left out…

I took videos of the jumpers back in action this morning at the yard, and although it’s just steady away at the moment it is good to see the familiar faces back in action. Scroll past the photos to see them on the gallop. There are flat horses in the mix also.
