Thursday 14th June & video

Our three at Haydock and Uttoxeter

We have two stable debutantes today – Bakhit who runs over 1m2f on the flat at Haydock and Cloife who is in the Mares bumper at Uttoxeter. Making his summer debut is Bertie Blake for the Kirby Club Partnership, several of his Owners are heading there to see him in the 2m 4f handicap hurdle, he’ll be ridden by Nathan Moscrop. With no significant rain having fallen, Phil has withdrawn Discay who has had leg problems in the past. Good luck to all our Owners,  and safe return for the horses & jockeys.

I took the video below yesterday of first lot in the sunshine…amongst some of our young horses it also features Helen who is riding Tekkibleu de l’Orme in the Charity race on Saturday at York. He’s unlikely to be the quickest but he should give Helen a safe spin on the Knavesmire and she enjoys riding him. We also have 3 other runners at York – Rayna’s World  and Archippos in the same race over 1m 4f and Captain Bob in the mile race. There is 33% for sale in Bob and what an exciting day to become an Owner in him if you are tempted!

The handsome head of Captain Bob

4 Owner Badges available are included in his price for Saturday ( with lunches) and not only does he go there in good form ( won 2 runs back) he has been 2nd at York in the past. Any rain that falls won’t inconvenience him. He is fit and sound to run all Summer & Autumn and he’s already won five races. Please ring or email Pippa if interested 07711709876 / pippakirby@icloud.com

We also have Fingal’s Cave at Chester (draw 9) and Macardle at Hexham and NOT FORGETTING Jaycol’s Star at Aintree!!!  – it’s going to be a hectic day for our team, luckily Sunday is quiet!
