Wednesday News and New Venture

A quiet day with yesterday’s runners but a good day for Julie winning ‘best turned out’ with one of her favourites Man of Verve.

Tonight we have just one runner, Iconic Figure, who heads to Hamilton to give Henry his third ride under rules. We wish them the best of luck and a safe trip round. It’s a highly competitive affair for Amateurs.

We are very pleased with homebred ‘Rococco’ who is getting ready for Junior bumpers – here he is this morning with Issey.

With just 3 days to go until York’s Charity Race for Macmillan, Helen is making her final preparations which included taking Teki D’Lorme for a gallop at Middleham yesterday morning in her white racing breeches alongside Show Promise and Henry. Meg took these pictures up there…

Most of you will know Meg from visits to the yard and racing where she helps out in the office and leading up, but we are delighted to hear that she has also started a new venture focusing on Equine Photography. She will be providing an extra service to our working hunter course as well as partnership mornings where a large number of photos can be emailed digitally to individuals at a very reasonable price. She is also keen to consider other enquiries and can be contacted via mdent99@hotmail.co.uk or by visiting her facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/megandentphotography/
