Tues 16th Jan…
No racing today for us as Ayr was abandoned following the 8am inspection… which ment Phil and Katie were already well over 2 hrs into the journey with Hangard heading for his debut over hurdles and Rock Of Leon.
We have Bitumen Belle at Market Rasen in the mares bumper with Adam Nicol on board. She has needed a bit of time and patience, as some mares do, but she is fit and ready for action – we wish her and owners The Well Oiled Partnership the best of luck.
Pumaflor goes to Newcastle AW for their night meeting, switching back to the flat we hope he will follow in his stable mates The Resdev Way’s hoof-steps and relish the change for owners Resdev, ridden by James Sullivan.
Northern Girl ran a very pleasing race at Ayr yesterday in the testing conditions for 3rd in her first handicap. She has a great attitude to her racing and really put her all in, just done for a bit of speed after the last. A promising day for her and we have no reason not to believe she will get her turn in the winners enclosure for her owners The Topspec Partnership & Ownaracehorse.
