5 @ Wetherby…

Its a busy Saturdays racing today at Wetherby with 5 runners – Wemyss Point, Allmyown, Skipthescales, Sakhee’s City & True Ballew.

Wemyss Point – winning last time out at Wetherby

We have Wemyss Point in the first running in his third novice for his Green Oaks Partnership with Tommy Dowson on board again. He has effectively had a 9lb rise due to Tommy dropping his 5lb claim to 3lb since the duo won last time out. However, it goes without saying that Wemyss acts well on this track and with no reason to have not come on for his win here 3 weeks ago, we wish him the best of luck for another top performance. Also in the first we have Allmyown who we think will be suited by this nice galloping track, ridden by Adam Nicol for owner John Birtles.

Next up is Skipthescales who won here last time over the same trip, up 5lbs for his efforts but hopefully can still put in a good show and remains in top form at home. Ridden by Tommy Dowson for owners Les & Maureen Richards.

Sakhee’s City

Sakhee’s City runs in the 5 runner 2m hurdle and this will be his second run of the season, with a respectable 4th here 3wks ago. He is a consistent horse who isn’t often un placed so we wish him and owners Keith & Jayne Sivills the best of luck today with Adam Nicol on board.

True Ballew

In the fillies bumper we have True Ballew making her racecourse debut for owners The Jessies. She isn’t the biggest, but it looks a fairly weak race and she is ready to have a go, so we hope she enjoys her first trip out and comes back safe, ridden today by Tommy Dowson.

Good luck to all runners, riders & owners today, and as always, come home safe!
