Good Friday Open Morning information

A morning on the gallops…

Minus the frost on this photo! We are looking forward to welcoming our existing P’ship Owners and prospective new Owners/Partnership owners on Good Friday for 10 am start. Don’t worry about directions – you will find these at the bottom of the page as the roadworks round our junction of the A1 are still occasionally challenging!

If you have been considering taking a share in a horse for the first time, or would like to experience Ownership at another yard too, this is the ideal morning to look around our yard ‘Green Oaks’ and meet Phil and  our dedicted team. We don’t think you will find a better positioned yard anywhere in the North – we are literally 3 minutes off the A1 but in glorious countryside.

The morning will begin with tea/ coffee/hot chocolate & sausage buns while  3rd lot pulls out and warms up in the arena – these will then head to the gallops which Phil will watch with you all. Schooling will take place of the young horses Bertie Blake, Wemyss Point, Northern Girl and others, and then while they are being cooled down & washed off after exercise you will be free to wander round the barns meeting the horses and our team.  Join Phil again for 4th lot up the gallops, and then we will be looking at our youngsters and future Partnership horses and anyone wishing to perhaps get involved can ask us questions.  There will be paperwork about our Partnerships to take home and read in your leisure.

Our Partnerships are usually of 20 Owners with a set ‘buy in’ fee or  ‘lease fee’   – and then an ‘all in one off up front’ payment  of £1250 per Owner for 12 months at a time. You can opt out at the end of each year with your prizemoney and the value of the horse at current market rate. No one has to stay in longer than they want, and there are no hidden ‘extras’ whatever happens. We are happy though to cater for new Partnerships of several friends who fancy getting together to buy a horse, and Phil is happy to attend the sales with you or on your behalf- he never charges commission. A group of friends can split the naming of the Partnership, the colour choice and the horses name choice – the last usually being the most popular!

Our newest Partnership to launch will be in this beautifully bred 16.2hh 2 year old by top sire, Robin des Champs, out of Lady Chapp, the dam of our progressive high class young mare, Lady Buttons (photo finish 2nd in the Mares Aintree  bumper, winner of 2 bumpers and four hurdles to date) There are just 6 shares remaining in ‘The Pinnacleplus Partnership’ as we have had a tremendous response from our existing Partnership owners. ‘Robin des Chapp’ as he has been named, is incredibly forward looking for his age – he resembles a 4 year old rather than a 2 year old, and is the complete package with bone, athletic movement and a great temperament. He won’t of course come into training until September 2018, but the Pship share price on offer includes 16 months free keep until then. Watch his video below:

New to the yard in the last couple of months, we think this text  from Harry and Jan sums up what we are trying to do here  to give everyone the best Ownership experience possible, wether you own 2.5%, 5%, 10% or  or 100%. Owners are welcome to the yard anytime – and we always make sure our P’ship  Owners receive a badge at the races – sometimes two  if we have spares, but you can always purchase some at half price as well so you and your spouse/partners/friends can come into the paddock  to enjoy watching your horse parade.  We send out emails with entries/decs and post race reports and photos – and regular yard  photos and videos of your horse plus a ‘welcome pack’ when you join of a Cerificate of Ownership, breeding page, photo and letter detailing the horses upcoming plans.
