Monday 3rd April – and video

Katie in the sunshine this morning

Its been another glorious day, but it started with a blanket of fog. Sunday’s winner ‘Archiposs’ enjoyed his morning in the field and was still bright enough to have a gallop round.

It wasn’t long before the jackets came off as the temperatures rose – this must have been an early lot!

Its greening up everywhere and we have some excellent grass for our youngsters to go out to at the end of the month. With 100 acres, there is turnout for all the horses at Green Oaks, we love our runners to get their freedom after exercise and believe its part of our successful and happy regime.

The Mares out last Spring

Our first runners of the week will be on Wednesday at Carlisle and Wolverhampton, followed by Nautical Nitwit at Aintree for a handicap hurdle. Man in Black runs over fences again on Wednesday, he jumped super but faded last time at Hexham. For a complete novice he is so good at a fence – we thought you might like to watch the first time he schooled over fences a couple of weeks ago..
