Its a big day for us at Doncaster today as Lady Buttons takes on four rivals in the Mares Hurdle, and she is favourite to win although there is some hot competition. Buttons is really well and this is a qualifier for her main Spring target at Haydock. We’d love a winner on our daughter Indy’s
Indiana – 8 today
Birthday too – she is 8 today – and a foal from Helen Wood today too would be just brilliant! Episode is also favourite, although if we get a ton of rain this afternoon his participation would be in doubt. Arabian Oasis is our first runner of the day, he needs to step up from his debut at Catterick and may prove more of a good ground summer horse but Doncaster usually provides the soundest winter surface about, and he should handle it.
