Can ‘Little Bruce’ score a hat trick?

Little Bruce – small but perfectly proportioned
Phil has given Little Bruce plenty of time to recover from

August Kate – Bruce’s close relative and the double of him
his exertions at Wetherby and Ayr, and he goes to Carlisle today in good form but we a bit in the dark yet as to wether he will cope with the step up in class. He is barely 15 hands and there wouldn’t be many winning jumpers in training who are smaller – but he has plenty of talent and a good attitude, and Racing Post make him favourite for the 3.35 there today with Donald McCains C&D winner ‘Thyne for Gold’ looking a potent danger. Adam is reunited with him and will be keen to add to our yards excellent strike rate for January and February – Phil has been on the ‘hot’ trainers list for some weeks now and we want to remain on it!
Its blowing a gale here this morning, and with Simon and Sarah on holiday we welcome Sarah Huntridge back to the yard for a fortnight, she was straight into the action this morning at 6.50am and has enjoyed the challenge of our new gallop on four lots so far.

It was a warmer day on saturday – Stacey with In Focus nearest camera
