Lady Chapp with Stanley – talking to the Sholokov gelding
All the horses in barn 3 are fascinated with Lady Chapp’s foal who is now in on a night with his Mother in preparation for the TBA foal show at Bangor racecourse towards the end of this month. On Monday he gets to wear a rug and learn to lead about, and he has already been brushed by Phil tonight in an effort to start getting his coat to lie flat and look smart. The dark areas on his head will become his true colour. We think he is a really special foal – lets hope the six judges think so at the show. We would love to be training him in 4 years time but he is destined for the Irish NH foal sales in December and with luck we will get Lady Chapp back in foal to ‘Presenting’ nice and early next Spring as he has turned out so well.

Goldan Jess looking better than ever
Five runners tomorrow and it would be hard to pick out our best chance – the most poignant winner would undoubtedly be Goldan Jess who should have put himself right with a recent run at Musselburgh but runs off a carrer high of an almost impossible 138 at 12 year of age. This may be his swansong, we will see how he fares. Factor

Factor Fifty looking his best at the moment
Fifty takes him on and tends to run well first time out so is an interesting runner in a valuable small field event. All our horses have chances – Eastview Boy should like it round here – his full brother Iktiview won at this track, Discay has also won here and Triple Eight loves to go right handed and come off a good gallop – we hope its going to be a good day for our team and good luck to all our owners tomorrow, may all the hores come back safely.
