Racehorses when in training are some of the best looked after horses in the world- they have every luxury to enable them to run to their peak performance. We have decided to choose The Brooke hospital thats helps the worlds poorest Equines for our Charity Draw, and hope you can all support us by sending in a £5.00  donation ( or more if you wish) , with a cheque made payable  to ‘The Brooke’ to our new address Philip Kirby Racing, Green Oaks, East Appleton, N Yorks, DL10 7QE – we will collect the cheques imagethen send them on, and all those to donate will have their name put into the draw to win a years free share in our unraced 2 year old ‘Enlighten Me’ who is Owned by The Shades of Grey’ Partnership. If you wish to send a larger donation you will get your name added more times into to the draw ,for example  £20.00 is 4 entries. there is nothing further to pay if you win the Ownership – Enlighten Me goes to the sales at the end of October and you revieve any prize money won plus the percentage of her sale price. She is a well bred filly who is a half sister to two high class 2 year old winners – the first 2 runners from the dam so far!

Here is a little bit about The Brooke who are famous for their Invaluable work with the brick kiln donkeys in Africa amongst many places, and a piece about one of their new projects in Mexico. The Equines in these 3rd World countries who be in a far worse state without them and we can’t think of a worthier cause.
