A trip to the new yard this morning saw snow on the ground but a lot more work done on the sand manege and the post and rail fences started, theres a lot of acreage to cover. Our moving date is getting close and we’re pretty excited! The views are amazing and we’re certain this yard is going to be a pretty fantastic place wheh its ready.
Its not been quite a day off for Phil, he has still been shoeing at Castleton – Factor Fifty and Tara Time are now shod all round with fresh shoes for tomorrow.
Wolverhampton tomorrow and a significant day for Ross Turner as he has his first ride as an Apprentice on the flat – he is riding the fancied Next Edition for The Dibble Bridge
Partnership in the 3.05 – and he claims 7lbs making Eddie’s job a little easier in this 0-75 contest. Julie Heneghan has both her hats on tomorrow – she is driving the box and preparing the runners, but Ross will lead her up as she rides MAC TIERNAN in the 1st, the 1m 1f Amateur race, and Julie will be looking forward to her second ride round the track on this enthusiastic five times winner. It will then be a quick weigh in, swop roles and Julie will then lead Ross up on Next Edition – a busy but exciting day for our jockeys and it woulf be a great day for team PKR if one of them could ride a winner.
