Saturday 10th October
Its a big day for us with ‘Call it On’ at York in the 2 mile race; can he really make it four from four? It will be by far his toughest task yet and we don’t want the ground to dry out much more, the softer the better but its another drying day ahead. Earlier in the week I managed to secretly change Phils colours to mine at the entry stage and Phil was none too happy after such a nasty shock! I don’t think he’ll mind really though if my pink and green silks finish in front this afternoon.
Its also a big day for stable Amateur, Ross Turner who rides debutante filly ‘Arco’ in the bumper at Hexham.
Arco’s former Owner, Julie, would have loved this day, we hope she runs well in her memory – Julie bought her as a yearling. Arco is now owned by ourselves & Keith Foster and therefore with Keith present tomorr i am confident the photos will be good! This is a small but tough filly whom Ross has done so much of the homework on, and she hasn’t been the easiest. The whole Team will be behind Ross tomorrow as he bids for his first winner.
