Sunday 23rd August

We are travelling back from Perth after an overnight stay with Tara Time who ran a half length 2nd in the bumper last night. We are delighted with the four year old who was just denied by Nicky Richard’s 6 year old who had had the benefit of three previous runs, and two runs at the track. Tara travelled through the race like a dream for Adam, sitting in second behind the favourite but the noise of the crowd and her inexperience of a race situation just caught her out when asked to quicken, although she was gaining all the way to the line. This was a really promising debut run, the pair being 7 lengths clear of the third. Tara ate her tea up last night and we are so pleased with how she has taken the whole experience. There is a mares bmper at Sedgefield at the end of September and this looks a distinct possibility.
