Quadriga ran well at Southwell last night – he was 3rd in a decent class mile handicap and picked up £700 for place prize money – this was his first AW run for us    and his new Owners and hopefully he

will be winning again before the season is out. Its AW action again forus today with recent winner Splash of Verve in the 12 runner  1m 1.5f 0-65 handicap preceeded by our old boy ‘Call it On’ in the 2 mile handicap, experienced jockey Tony Hamilton jocked up on both of them  and he rode Colin last time when 3rd at Thisk. Both have obvious claims and with a good run of recent winners we would like to continue this trend today and get on the scoreboard again.

Mr Chuckles looked in top shape at Thirsk least week and duly won BTO for Julie but he had no luck in running and was tortally boxed in when the time came to make his cgalenge. Its a run we are writing off and i see Phil has entered him at Chester.

Before all this rain the three colts at Middleham have had a great time playing together in the sunshine. The jewel in Castleton Bloodstock’s Crown – The Zoffany colt out of Chocoalte Mauk who is heading to Book 2 at Tatts in October is looking tremendously well.
