Royal Entourage wins at Aintree this weekend

Royal Entourage wins at Aintree this weekend

All of us at PKR were pleased and proud to see the photos of Stacey Kay Bennett with Royal Entourage (Roger) formerly owned by Keith and Jayne Sivills, wining a presitigious ROR class at the National Aintree show this weekend. Stacey has brought Roger on very carefully and he is a credit to her in his second profession.

Another photo we spotted on facebook was of former Travelling head Person Julie Staveley and the mare ‘Misty Gem’ who ran for us a few times before and after point to pointing. Julie looks so smart on ‘Misty’ and this prolific winning pointing mare has done very well in the showring for her and her daughter Sophie the past three seasons.

I love this photo of my lovely grey boy ‘Word of Warning’ out on lease to Claire Poole – Smokey made his first show this year a wining one and we are eagerly awaiating news of his next appearance!

Readers who have been with us for the long term will be pleased to hear we have the ‘Monsun’ stallion ANDORN back at Castleton and he will be staying with us for the long term now. All being well he will be available to TB and non TB mares in 2016.

If any of our readers would like a nice novice TB to bring on I have been sent photos of a 16.1hh mare that didnt run for us but did briefly stay in the yard, she is a 4 year old, good looking bay who is looking for an experienced new home, you can email  her current owner Emma Meehan on emisdoug@aol.com and she can be seen near Saltburn. Picture of her below:

We  also re-homed a nice little mare called ‘Double Diva’ who is for sale again in the Guisbrough Area. Diva is a quality  liver chestnut of about 15hh and has been lightly competed with success but had a quiet year through no fault of her own. If anyone is looking for a nice little show or dressage mare or for PC activities and hacking, please get in touch with webmaster Keith Foster (her breeder)  ailsae@mac.com
