Wednesday 10th June
Its been a quiet racing week at Sharp Hill and we have to wait until Friday for Episode and King’s Grey running at Aintree on Friday evening. We did, however, have the Sky Sports News TV team there this morning covering Brian’s big comeback, and it will be covered extensively on sky sports news tomorrow. You should see some good action shots on the gallops. Brian will be getting very used to giving interviews!
In the meantime i have a video and some photos of the mares and young stock at Dibble Bridge, its looking wonderful in the sunshine.
Last week Steve Kett has a very special cake made for him by Megan, it has now become a tradition and we think this one is the most impressive yet!!
Factor Fifty is okay after his first chase, he made quite a significant mistake early on and was not so fluent after but finished safely. Julie had him looking immaculate and won BTO as usual…
Dibble Bridge Pship: Eddie is looking great and will be having his first piece of fast work this week. He is well on course for his early July return to the track.
The Philip Kirby P’ship: TARA TIME is the name with the most votes for the good looking 4 year old Kayf Tara filly, we also have a couple of shares left in her for sale. She will be having her first run around August time in a bumper.
Shades of Grey Pship: Enlighten Me: Shares available in this gorgeous filly for 2016, don’t miss out! Her two year old half brother Mint Chai has a rating in the 80’s and has been 2nd three times this year in high class Irish Maidens. Shares £1000 all in until the end of 2016!!
Waking Ned Pship: Stenna is enjoying a very enjoyable summer holiday at Dibble Bridge with his friend Dibble Bridge!!
Saturday will be a huge day for Sarah Huntridge as she teams up with Triple Eight at York in the Macmillan Charity Race. Sarah has ridden out regularly for months and he will not lack for assistance in the saddle! We can’t wait to see them in action.
Later in the month we are so pleased that Julie Heneghan our traveling head girl girl has got her place in the staff race..watch this space for her intended mount.
Izzy our daughter was chuffed last week to get her Hickstead qualification on her pony Cooper. She is very competitive just like her Dad, but this is much steadier and less stressful than racing!
And Dibble Bridge has a fabulous new cockeral, he has been names Mr Hawk by the kids but i have no idea why, perhaps its because he is a bit scary!!
