A new video
From Tattersalls Sales last week… a behind the scenes view of trip to the sales at Ratoath in Ireland, primarly a sale of well bred National Hunt yearlings with a few 2/3 and 4 year olds at the front of the catalogue. Some cracking good yearlings on offer, although all of them still ‘unofficially’ foals as most wont be 1 until March time or later.
An interesting stat for our site – 36 viewers from Canada today compared to 26 from Ireland! Must be some NH enthusiasts over there enjoying our news pages-thanks for looking!
Before the video we are pleased to report a much improved run from the giant ‘Transient Bay’ at Ayr today, the bare result says 7th but we were delighted with the improvement and enthusiasm he showed – beaten less than 5 lengths by the winner. a major step forward. Jessie Pinkman was also unplaced but ran well for a long way and was found out in a sprinting finish after a slow early pace. Both horses JUST arriving back at Castleton for the night.
