Friday’s News

A quiet day at the yard ahead of Pass Muster running at Market Rasen tomorrow, and Sister Swing running at Ripon. We also have  a team of raced and unraced bumper horses going for an educational racecourse gallop on Sunday. Pass Muster is pictured below and must have a very good chance back over hurdles off a workable mark, Adam Nicol rides and claims a handy 5lbs, he knows him well. Pass Muster is Julie’s favourite who will be driving and leading him up  tomorrow, he is i think the most beautiful horse on the yard.

Sister Swing runs in a four runner maiden which doesn’t look the hottest race , she is progressing nicely but her future lies in handicaps. She ran with promise last time at Chester. The extra trip should help her, she is a half sister to our decent stayer, Embsay Crag. good luck to the Sivills and the Swinglehursts with their runners tomorrow.

Pass Muster

It was a glorious morning on the low moor and we took lots of photos and videos, a long video of 3rd and 4th lot will be uploaded tomorrow.

For now here are some past winners and future winners, headed by 8 time winner Amazing King who might come into some tentative light work if we can catch him, he is turned out with the in foal mares and is definately the boss of everyone. Ten years old now, he is looking really well.

Here are some young horses, Cant believe It on the right and Libby Mae on the left, two unraced bumper prospects.

And cantering here its Cant Believe it followed by the 3 year old ‘Episode’ a half brother to our bumper winner, Avidity. Stable star  Stopped Out follows him.
