Tuesdays News
No runners today but we had a good 2nd from Stormy Morning and Joe Fanning at Wolverhampton last night – that was a real improvement from him and he seemed to love the new tapeta surface, travelling strongly all the way; he could just have done with a lead for longer but the front runners stopped quickly. Everyone was thrilled to see him finding his form again and we can see him being a winner for Ownaracehorse in the near future as long as the handicapper doesnt get too carried away with this form. In the later race, O’ly Roccs didn’t get any sort of run after a slowish start and he will bid to make amends on Thursday back at Wolverhampton, Phil Dennis jocked up.
Tomorrow sees ‘Stopped Out’ bidding to make it a double of wins at Musselburgh – its a competitive 2 mile affair with plenty of familiar names, and always for good prize money at our favourite track. Rocky Two is also heading back to a track he has won at this summer, same jockey too – he runs in the amateur race for Philip Dennis and the ground is quicker for him than on his last appearance here. Good luck to his new Owner Andrew Pullen.
It was a busy morning at the yard with most of the jumpers back in either doing there road work, or now cantering, and it nice to see them looking well and progressing each day.
