Triple Meetings, Ben & Bushy reappear

Major Races Preview : some good news this morning, just the 4 runners in Top Ville Ben’s 2.25 race now with Calva d’Auge a NR. With such a dry forecast ahead for the Skybet Chase next week Ben is instead having a rare hurdles spin on more suitable ground as it is such good prizemoney & a small field. With Tommy currently banned, Alain Cawley takes over.

Bushypark looked uncharacteristically tired at Haydock last time for 3rd, and the bookies are dismissing him here at 25-1 despite his previous fine record. He’s not the biggest but he has lots of heart and we hope he can bounce back in this competitive race for a great prize – Sam Coltherd gets the leg up in the 3 o’ clock, the Novices Chase.

Ravenscar in action today at Market Rasen

Its not just our ’big two’ we have 4 other runners today & some competitive chances from RAVENSVAR , SUNSET WEST, GOWANLAD, & RAIFF. Joe will be hoping to go one better on Ravenscar after a close second last week. she went up 4lb for that effort, but she’s running before the rise, we’ll have to see wether this comes too soon but she seems well & is taking her chance. Sunset West ran a solid race first time over fences at Ayr, Henry Brooke takes the ride today for The Vacuum Pouch Company.

Both Raiff & Gowanlad have decent claims at Newcastle – 3 hours in between races there for our two!
