Wetherby and winners!

It’s an exciting afternoon at Wetherby with 2 young horses racing for us – Skycutter is favourite in a competitive maiden juvenile hurdle at 1.15 & Sallagh makes her second bumper appearance for us to round off the card. The sun is shining and it promises to be an good days racing at our Grade 1 Yorkshire track. Wishing our Owners an enjoyable afternoon & safe return for horses and jockeys. Skycutter is a fast, bold jumper, but its always nerve wracking watching a keen 3 year old make his hurdling debut 🙏🏻

Yesterday we saw a very pleasing seasonal debut for BLACK EBONY, 2nd at Southwell for Tommy. He jumped boldly and looks a chaser in the making for sure.

We were thrilled that BEE THE DIFFERENCE backed up his first Ayr win with a back to back success on Monday, he stayed the extra half mile admirably despite pulling hard in the first couple of furlongs. it was a lovely ride from Tommy who really suits this tough little horse. He’s been given a humongous 18lb rise for his first win, which seems very harsh given that he was well backed and beaten off the same mark on his previous start at Wetherby. He won this race by 2 lengths with a 7lb penalty, its not hard to realise he will have a hard task on his hands to win again off his new mark. lets hope he can bridge the gap with improvement.

I cant remember if we posted Misscarlett’s winning video with Joe, so here it is again if I did…
