Wye Aye wins & 3 meetings Friday

Wye Aye & Joe Wiliamson in front at Perth

Taking over on the tricky but talented Wye Aye was never going to be easy for our Conditional jockey, Joe Williamson following the partnership he built up with Colm McCormack, but it all came together yesterday at Perth, Joe’s first time over fences on him. Despite carrying top weight, Wye Aye found an extra gear on the running for Joe to push his head in front when it mattered right on the line. This was a really enjoyable win for his Owners, The Well Oiled Partnership, & he has been a real good fun horse for them over the last 12 months. Wye Aye is a very odd character, and took a real hold on the way down to start yesterday, but settled well in the race, and Joe really seems to have his measure it now. Let’s hope it is the first of many wins on him. Our other 2 runners came back safely and perhaos found this tight track on the sharp side, there’ll be other days.

A BUSY AFTERNOON AHEAD FOR OUR TEAM…

Today we are triple handed across 3 meetings and all have a nice chance today in competitive races. STARGAZER bids to win again at the same meeting he did last year, GOLFE CLAIR aims for a double, he won on debut for us a few weeks ago, and AQUISITOR tries for win number 4 of the season for Hope Eden Racing – best of luck to all involved & safe return 🐎
