Philip Kirby Racing

Racehorse Trainer based at Richmond, North Yorkshire

Tues 14th Sept…

We are glad the PKR Club open day at the yard on Saturday was enjoyed by all and the weather even managed to hold up for us. We hope those of you who came enjoyed Phil’s insight of the horses and their season ahead, along with the un planned entertainment of Show Promise with his antics in the school getting loose! Clearly didn’t think he was going to get enough of a mention! There is a great buzz in the yard now as ‘the proper’ jumps season starts and our team for the winter comes together. Fingers crossed for another successful one and we look forward to seeing many of you back out at the tracks with us now the covid restrictions allow it at long last.

Todays runners are Caracristi at Redcar and Trevolli at Wolverhampton. Caracrist stayed on well last time out at Carlisle, doing her best in the last 100yards for a better than it sounds close finishing 8th. She is having her first run since joining PKR and we hope to see her learn more today and improve further with Kevin Stott in the plate for owner Ace Bloodstock Ltd. Trevolli is heading down to Wolves for their evening meeting and we hope for another of his consistent efforts here under Billy Garritty for A R Racing. Best of luck to all involved, and come home safe!
